Villa Joanna-Marie is a beautiful deluxe villa, furnished to a high standard and featuring a private swimming pool, which can be heated for all year round use.
A gently elevated position with views of the Salgados nature reserve and the ocean beyond, this villa benefits from magnificent sunsets to the West.
Local restaurants and cafés are just a 10 minute stroll away. The villa has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and is built on three levels.
Set in the heart of tranquil Vale de Parra with stunning sea views, Villa Joanna-Marie provides total immersion into the relaxing lifestyle of the sunny Algarve.
The villa is located on a small private estate, with no through traffic, called Quinta de Amizade (Friendship Farm).
The ground floor comprises of the entrance hall, open plan lounge with 3 large sofas and dining room, kitchen, utility room and 2 ensuite bedrooms with twin beds.
Behind the villa is the swimming pool, (which can be heated as an option). There is also an outside dining area with BBQ and sunloungers.
The pool is secluded by a hedge and there a further small garden with plants and shrubs beyond.
The villa has full WiFi, a 56 inch flat screen TV, full multi-language satellite channels including Sky Sports and Sky Movies and a music/DVD player.
The Lounge has sofa seating and a wood burning fireplace.
There is a 6 foot slate bed pool table and table tennis table for free guest use which is in the lower ground floor garage.
Additionally, there are two sets of golf clubs available for guest use
With five bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, Joanna-Marie comfortably accommodates 10 guests.
The master bedroom features a four-poster king-sized bed with adjoining bath and shower room.
The three upstairs bedrooms, including the master bedroom, have access to their own private balconies overlooking the pool.
The Villa has 6 bathrooms in total.
All bedding, bath and pool towels are provided.
Small children are welcome at Villa Joanna-Marie, and two cots, two high chairs and stair gates are provided. Cot blankets are provided!
The kitchen is fully fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, two electric coffee machines, an electric juicer, electric blender/ice crusher and American fridge freezer.
The utility room has a new Miele washing machine, separate Bosch dryer and sink as well as ironing and airing facilities. The patio door from the utility room leads to a washing line.
The villa is fully air conditioned throughout with both warm and cold air options for your comfort.
Maid service for towel change is mid-week with a full bedding change at the weekend for those staying for 2 weeks.
The villa is managed day-to-day by a local company who are based within 2km, and are on hand to answer questions should any arise.
Located on a small private estate of nine villas, Joanna-Marie is secured with a full alarm system and a guest safe for peace of mind.
Villa Joanna Marie is located in Vale de Parra, near Guia, Salgados and Albufeira.
Vale de Parra, translating to ‘Valley of the Wines’, offers rural serenity and convenient access to an excellent range of restaurants, local amenities and miles of pristine sandy beaches.
Inland, up in the hills of Monchique, you will see a way of life that has disappeared from much of Europe.

A great all year round beach. Lovely golden sand, great gentle waves and you can even swim in December with the warm currents.
The beach, which stretches for miles, is situated in front of a nature reserve where migrating flamingos can be seen in the spring as well as a multitude of other wildlife.
The beautiful local beaches are within a 5 minute drive, or alternatively for those who prefer gentle exercise, it’s an approximate 30 minute walk.
You can take an evening stroll along the beach to restaurants round the bay. Further around the coast in Vale de Parra there are more secluded coves and beaches.
Situated neatly within the protected reserve, Salgados Golf course will delight beginners and experienced golfers alike. The course offers a driving range, putting green, chipping green & bunker area, shop, restaurant & bar, as well as 18 picturesque holes, while co-existing with endangered bird species.
The cost of living is still among the cheapest in Western Europe and the local wine is delicious. Coffee lovers can be satisfied for pocket change!
A short walk from the villa, the no-fuss Prima Pasta won’t disappoint, and is often a family favourite. Museau dos Salgados is a slightly more intimate affair, and also worth a visit.

The villa was very clean and well equipped. There was lots of space inside although we spend most of the time sitting around the large table outside next to the bbq’s and pizza oven. The pool was a good size and we paid the extra so the pool was heated given we had grandchildren who were never out of the pool. Highly recommend.

What a lovely villa. It has everything from a games room to a superb pool with heating. Very family friendly. I have to say David was excellent, helped with every query before and during our stay. Our whole group loved it. The villa was clean with all suitable amenities and very comfortable beds. Stunning views, the beach is close by and nice restaurants are nearby suitable for different dietary needs. Again thanks for a brilliant stay. Would definitely recommend!!! :)
